It is divided into 21 regions, with their own “legislation”. The alley where the beer tents stand is much longer than a mile, about 2 kilometers long. Every hundred meters there are concert venues where local and visiting artists and musicians delight the public with their performances.

It is organized by the city authorities and the order of knights, combining the honorable Belgian breweries.
The leading producers of beer in the country are eager to take part in this festival. It pours here a river, the guests are offered about 350 kinds, among them there are light lighter varieties of light and dark ale, whose strength reaches 8%.
There is even its own “monetary unit” in the form of bottle caps with the nominal value of one euro. The tasting portion costs 2-3 caps. Admission to the celebration is free. The entertainment program includes a parade of brewers who ride through the streets on carts made of wood, a brass band, jazz band, various contests, the reward for winning them – a large portion of a hoppy drink.
